About HJC

Welcome to HotJazzChops.com!

Hello everyone, my name is Letron "LTrain" Brantley, CEO and Founder of HotJazzChops.com. I am very pleased to be a part of this continuing resurgence of the music that has been a part of our history for decades. My love for the music we call Jazz has taken me to many places and has allowed me to play with many talented musicians. As a musician myself, it has always been my desire to do what I could to make sure the art form of Jazz never dies, but rather is taught to students young and old so that the legacy of the greats (Past and Present) continues to live on. This is the reason I created HotJazzChops.com. This website is slammed full of resources for the beginner as well as the advanced musician.

This is where I have most of my resources which include: video lessons, transcriptions, cheat sheets, and more! It is therefore our duty to embrace Jazz in all of its forms and pass it on to the generations to come.
